When is it best to be photographed?

If you are planning on being photographed outside, plan on an evening appointment. The light is warmer and the tones give you a more relaxed look. Photographers like to call this “sweet light”.

If its a child - when are they at their best? Is this a child that needs a nap - plan around it. If its a family - don’t try to rush it into a really tight schedule. Too much stress will show.

Seniors need to allow time for travel if multiple locations are needed - if multiple clothing requires extra care. Make sure you have planned on a time frame that provides the best of all worlds.

Models should get an update frequently to show variety. FInding the place, the right time and makeup care will greatly enhance your marketing appeal. Being photographed at Easton on the day after Thanksgiving wil not due. Less crowded times will offer you more attention and less distraction.

Make it your own Session

Every sesion has its own personality. Chldren have short attention times, pets do what they want to do and the girls definitely love to take their time changing a dozen sets of clothing and acessories. Every consideration is made to work in the best time of day for everyone. Families need afterwork, seniors are all over and babies need their naps. Locations are great and have been attended to on the California coast, the Michigan beaches as well as the warmth of someones living room. The idea here is to make it your own. We do not want to get caught up in a cookie cutter mentality as opposed to the free expression of the person helping us helping them in this creation.
